WordPress Expert

Fast, secure, SEO-friendly
WordPress sites.

WordPress powers 43% of the web for good reasons: flexibility, ecosystem, solid SEO. But it's also become a graveyard of slow, hacked sites due to poor-quality themes and plugins. I build custom WordPress sites with a professional approach: clean code, Core Web Vitals performance, hardened security.

WordPress is an excellent tool when used well. But 80% of the WordPress sites I audit are in a dire state: heavyweight themes (Avada, Divi, Bridge) loading 5 MB of JavaScript, layers of gimmick plugins, no security, dreadful performance. My approach is the opposite: a lightweight child theme built on a solid base (Astra, GeneratePress) or fully custom, ACF for custom fields, Gutenberg for editing, and a performance stack that actually holds up.

Beyond the brochure site, WordPress covers two uses it is less associated with. First the content-heavy site, where structure matters more than design — taxonomies, templates, internal search. Then headless use, where WordPress is only the content back-office while a Next.js or statically generated front end does the rendering: you gain performance and security, you lose instant preview.

That setup belongs to the Premium package. In every case updates are not optional: a site left unattended ends up compromised.

FAQ

Frequent questions

Why not Divi, Elementor or Avada? +
These page builders are convenient but they load huge amounts of unnecessary JS and CSS, badly hurting performance. On sites where speed matters (SEO, conversion), I prefer a lightweight custom theme. For a personal blog, Elementor remains acceptable.
How much does a custom WordPress site cost? +
Professional showcase site: €2,500 to €6,000. Site with advanced features (member area, API integrations, multilingual): €6,000 to €15,000. Headless WordPress + Next.js: €12,000 to €30,000.
What is the typical delivery timeframe? +
Showcase site: 4 to 8 weeks. Complex site: 8 to 16 weeks. Headless: 10 to 20 weeks. Precise schedule given at project start.
What about WordPress hosting? +
For a standard showcase site: o2switch or OVH Web Cloud (~€10/month). For high-traffic sites: VPS or a managed WP host (Kinsta, WPEngine, starting at €30/month).
Is WordPress secure? +
WordPress itself is secure. Attacks come from outdated or poorly coded plugins/themes, and weak passwords. With a professional setup (2FA, updates, hardening), your site is as safe as any platform.
Is WordPress maintenance essential? +
Yes, absolutely. Without regular maintenance, your site will be compromised within 6-12 months. Updates, backups, security monitoring: starting at €149/month.
